The healthiest way to lose weight is neither crash diets and fad diets nor sudden bursts of exercise. The body likes slow changes in terms of food and exercise. For example, someone who has not exercised for years should not rush into running three miles every day. Exercise needs to be increased slowly.
People who eat a lot will experience problems if they suddenly start starving themselves. Introduce changes gradually. Even relatively light exercise such as a short walk may be beneficial if done frequently. The calories you eat minus what you use in exercise and maintaining your body will be stored as fat.
Someone that increases the amount they exercise, but maintains the same diet and calorie intake, will almost certainly lose weight.
Thankfully we are all different in our likes and dislikes and, therefore, exercise in a variety of ways. It is essential that you find an activity that is enjoyable, appropriate, accessible and affordable for you. That way you are far more likely to build it into your routine and continue regular exercise, despite the inevitable set backs due to illness, family commitments, etc.
For people who do not like sweating in a fitness studio there are fun alternatives. When going to the local park, nature trails or trips to the seaside, try to incorporate longer walks into the outing and take a picnic so you are in control of what you are going to eat that day. Always use the stairs instead of the lift. Bear in mind that every single step helps. Get off the bus a stop before the usual one and walk the rest of the way. Use commercial breaks between TV-programmers to stand up and do exercise, or consider using an exercise bicycle in your living room while watching your favorite programs.
For many people it may be beneficial to reduce their calorie intake by eating less and eating more healthily. It is not necessary to crash diet. This usually ends up with the person concerned either getting weaker or giving up completely in desperation. This in turn can lead to a yo-yoing effect of the weight loss – weight gain cycle. Cut down on fatty foods and eat more bread, fruit and vegetables.
Eating 300 to 500 calories less per day, may lead to losing between one and two pounds per week. This is a realistic weight loss. It may seem slow, but would add up to a weight loss of more than three stone in a year.
Having a glass of water instead of juice, eating less lunch than usual and having smaller portions of the food you enjoy are all ways to reduce calorific intake without having to necessarily alter your diet significantly. Avoid a second helping at dinner and snacks between meals, which may have become a habit. Cut down on beer and alcohol. All these things will influence your health in a positive way.

While your regular diet pill may claim to provide the easy solution to trimming down and avoiding obesity, these can be dangerous when taken indiscriminately and without the supervision of a competent medical professional. It is often that we hear of individuals who suffer from diet pill overdose, having taken them without first consulting the doctor for possible effects on existing physical conditions such as an existing heart ailment, diabetes, hypertension or even pregnancy.
A diet pill overdose can and will kill. Those suffering from the overdose are candidates for cardiac arrhythmia, or worse a heart attack. They may exhibit shallow breathing, start convulsing and experience a variety of hallucinations.
Other symptoms of the overdose may include irregular heartbeats, extremely high or low blood pressure, fatigue, chest pains and seizures, vision impairment, stomach cramps and hair loss. It can likewise cause changes in one’s behavior as it may lead to depression. anxiety and insomnia.
There are likewise plenty of dangerous side effects when taking the pills.
Most of them have the objective of making you feel full when in fact you aren’t. There are pills that make you feel thirsty in order to compel more water intake to make you feel full. As a result you may not be taking in the much needed nutrients that you body needs. This could in turn result to a weakened immune system which will make you vulnerable to several illnesses.
Other diet pills claim to speed up the process of metabolism or the process with which we burn fat. They often contain high doses of caffeine and could trigger heart conditions if not taken properly.
Losing weight need not be dangerous. Experts agree that nothing is as good as the tried and tested formula of diet and exercise as the sure fire way of losing weight.
Gradually lessen your intake of sugar and carbohydrates while increasing the fiber in your diet. Change that roast beef sandwich into one of cucumber and cheese, with high fiber wheat bread. Incorporate lots of vegetables, fruits and juices. Avoid that high calorie chocolate cake! This will allow your body to gradually adjust to the type and amount of food that you take, thus avoiding the shock that usually comes with taking those pills and consequently avoiding those dreaded side effects and overdose symptoms.
Combine with exercise regimen and you’re good to go. Park your car a few blocks further than usual and give yourself more walking time. When going a mere two or three floors up, take the stairs instead of the elevator. The exact same formula applies for going down the building. Have some serious, rigorous, outdoor playtime with your kids, at least once a week, if not your nephews and nieces. Run, jog and play catch. Allow yourself to sweat it out once in a while.

First let me explain hair growth, hair actually is formed at the base of a hair follicle. A follicle is like a pouch that is located below the skin. What we usually call hair is actually the hair shaft, which is hardened tissue that grows from a follicle.
As you know our head contains thousands of hair follicles. Did you know that not all of them are not active at the same time? It’s true. Studies proved that not more than 80% of our follicles are producing hair growth at any one time. The remaining 20% of the follicles are asleep or dormant.
When our inactive or dormant hair follicles start working again, they push out the old hair while producing a new one. Our hair grows from the follicle at an average rate of one-half inch every month. The hair growth continues for a period varying between four and seven years, after which the hair begins a ‘resting’ phase. After this resting phase, it is time for the hair to fall out. As a hair falls out, a new hair grows in its place after a gap of three weeks to three months. There are chances of us losing 50 to 100 hairs in any day. Some of us lose even more than that, not to regrow hair back again. This is why you need to have help starting back up the hair follicle engine.
Depending on age, weight, metabolism, hormones, ethnicity, medications, and Genes hair will grow differently, which is why some hair loss solutions work for some people and not others.
There are three distinct phases of hair hair growth: anagen, catagen and telogen.
1. The anagen phase is also called the active growth phase. This phase continues for several years. At any given time, the major portion (85%) of our body hair is found to be in this phase.
During this anagen phase, the hair has an abundance of melanin (Pigment).
2. The catagen or the regressive phase lasts for a period of nearly two weeks, during which the hair stops growing but has not yet shed. It has been observed that about 3 – 4% of our body hair is in this phase at any given time.
3. The telogen phase or the resting phase continues for 5 – 6 weeks, at the end of which the hair falls out and a new hair begins to take shape. Nearly 10-13% of our body hair is in this phase at any given time. There is an extensive loss of hair when more hair enters and stay in this phase. Research has established that the shock caused to the human system by stress and sickness can result in a larger percentage of hair staying in the resting phase, leading to reduced active hair regrowth along with an accelerated period of loss of hair.
OK, now how do we get our hair to wake up, fall out and grow back stronger?
We already mentioned above the main contributors to hair loss which were, age, weight, metabolism, hormones, ethnicity, medications, and Genes. Other factors that can cause hair loss include, childbirth, birth control pills, disease or illness, hair treatments because chemicals are used, hair styling like braiding, weaving and some doctors will tell you that a poor diet can effect hair loss.
Some of these factors we cannot control but others we can. All studies indicate that the main contributor that we can control is DHT (Dihydrotestosterone).
Dihydrotestosterone, (DHT) is an active metabolite of the testosterone hormone that is formed in the adrenal gland, hair follicles, prostate glands and testes. DHT belongs to the class of compound known as androgen’s, which is commonly known as the testoids or androgenic hormone to doctors but for us its’ a type of steroid hormone. Males produce the DHT very early in life. This helps in the formation of the male specific characteristic such as development of the body hair, development of the facial hair, thickness of the voice and etc. DHT Blockers work to prevent the effects of this hormone after the puberty phase is completed, and the abundance of this compound is no longer needed in men.
DHT in the scalp is the main contributor of hair loss. DHT is created by testosterone which is why hair loss mainly affects males. When testosterone is naturally converted to DHT, the result is hair loss. Although everyone has DHT some people lose hair while others don’t.
Hormonal changes are the #1 factor in hair loss of both men and women. This is mainly because of the hair follicles having a greater number of Androgen’s receptors (regulators of gene expressions) for the DHT to attach to. In simple terms the hair follicles need to block DHT build up and this will keep the hair on your head where it belongs.
Understanding the role of the DHT both in the male and the female pattern baldness, the researchers have discovered some unique way to prevent this hormone to act on the receptors in the scalp. Products that prevent those hormones are often called DHT Blockers.
Research has established that DHT is 30 times more potent as compared to the testosterone hormone. This is due to the fact that it has an increased affinity for the androgen receptor. However, there are many topical DHT blockers and inhibitors that are easily available in the open market under different brand names – being manufactured and marketed by different companies. Inhairit, Advica, Procerin, ProFillica and Provillus are some of the DHT inhibitors.
Saw Palmetto is one of the most potent and effective herbal or natural DHT blocker, which is far cheaper than most of the other DHT inhibitors in the market, but may not be as effective for some people as the products listed above. Blocking DHT is effective in slowing the effects of the hormone on the follicle, slowing hair loss. Some hair loss shampoo formulas use Saw Palmetto in their ingredients as a topical inhibitor for DHT.
It is believed that DHT also participates in the development of acne. Women with high level of the DHT will develop some male secondary sex properties such as hair growth just above their upper lips, or side burn whiskers, more developed muscles and thick voice. Although the exact reasons have yet to be discovered it has been established by the researchers that the overproduction of DHT leaves the subjects exposed to the risks of prostate cancer and benign enlargement of the prostate.

It is so rare to find your true LOVE. And sometimes you need full relaxation and just happiness and love. If you are lucky you can have a very special day full of love, flowers, romantic dinner and paradise night.
What if you had unexpected romantic day and you absolutely forgot that you are on ovulation period and you did not protect yourself from pregnancy?
Don’t worry! There are easy solutions called “emergency contraception”.
Emergency contraception is a kind of contraception which used as an emergency procedure to prevent unwanted pregnancy which could happen after unprotected sexual intercourse. Emergency contraception can be used in following cases:
Ø when no contraceptive has been used,
Ø when contraceptive methods failed (missed pills, condom rupture, diaphragm dislodgement, etc.)
Ø when girl or woman has been a victim of the sexual attack (abuse).
There are two kinds of emergency contraception:
1. emergency contraceptive pills (progestogen-only or combined oestrogen-progestogen oral contraceptives);
2. copper-releasing intrauterine devices (IUDs).
Emergency contraception should be used within 3 days (72 hours) after unprotected sexual contact.
Combined pills (oestrogen-progestogen pills)
• Two pills should be taken as the first dose as soon as possible after unprotected sexual contact but no later than 72 hours. It should be followed by another two pills after 12 hours.
OR
• Four pills can be taken as the first dose as soon as possible (same as above). It should be followed by another four pills after 12 hours.
Progestogen-only pills
• A single dose of 1.5 mg levonorgestrel should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sexual contact but no later than 72 hours.
• One dose of 0.75 mg can be taken as the first dose as soon as possible (same as above). It should be followed by the same dose after 12 hours.
Combined pills reduce the risk of pregnancy after unprotected sexual contact by about 56%-89% if taken within 72 hours. The progestogen-only pills reduce the risk by about 60%-93% if taken within 72 hours.
In general the probability of the pregnancy after one unprotected sexual contact is 8%. Women who use emergency contraception (see above methods) are able to reduce the pregnancy risk to 1%-2%. The efficacy is better the sooner emergency contraception is used after unprotected sex.
In general emergency contraception pills are 95% effective if taken within 24 hours; 85% effective if taken within 25-48 hours and 58% effective if taken within 49-72 hours.
Cooper-releasing IUD
A cooper-releasing IUD can be inserted by the professionals within 5 days of unprotected sexual contact.
This method is highly effective (up to 98% of cases) with the possibility of the pregnancy less than 1%.

If you or your husband has had an affair and you don’t think you will be able to save your marriage or even get your husband to want you any longer, think again. Although it might be difficult, there are ways that you can create desire, longing and excitement in your husband. Chances are there is love left and that’s all it takes to build your marriage back up. Here are some tips on how to win back your husband after the affair.
Show Him Just How Special You Really Are
Remember the things that your husband loves about you, the reason he married you and the things that drive him wild? This is the time to reach back into your memory and pull all of those little weapons out – and to start using them. Show your husband that you’re the only one who knows him like you do and just exactly what he would be missing if he left for good or didn’t want to be with you anymore.
Keep in mind that you shouldn’t be too obvious about this – you want to do these things as if you have no idea how much he loves them. It might be a certain way you wear your hair, something you say or do, or an outfit that your husband can’t resist. After hitting him with a couple of these, he will be like putty in your hands.
Don’t Be Desperate
One of the things you want to avoid while you’re trying to win your husband back after the affair is acting desperate. You want to make it look as though you couldn’t care less (although you do.) The reason is this – part of the excitement of a woman (for a man) is the chase. You probably know this from dating him!
Bring back that exciting element to the relationship and allow him to see that you’d be just fine without him. This will get him excited and make him think twice about leaving you or being with another woman. The chase is a very important part of relationships, so don’t act as though you’re already his! Even though you are his, make him think he’s got to win you over.
Allow Him to Have Space
While you probably wonder why you would want to give him space if you want him back, this is important. Giving him space allows him to come to his own conclusions without being ‘under the influence.’ This is what you want him to do, because when he comes back, he comes back without being pressured and without being coerced into coming back. If he doesn’t come back of his own free will, then why would you want him back at all, right?
Let your husband have some space and take the time to realize that life is much better with you in it than with you absent.
It may hurt to think that you will lose your husband, but there is hope yet! When you follow the tips and suggestions above, you can get your husband back after the affair.

Are you still concerned about your hair, even at this mature stage in your life? You and countless other women are searching for the same hair care tips. For those of us 50 or older, managing our hair may become a bit more difficult. As we age, hair becomes more brittle and weak – leading to hair damage, split ends and frizzy hair. Hair may begin to gray and often we experience increased hair fall, thinning and hair loss. Combine this with hair styles that are more “suited” to our age, and hair care for women over 50 can be a handful. Here are 5 great hair tips for women over 50!
Re-invent Yourself
A new hair style is one quick fix for taking years off your look and giving yourself a boost both mentally and physically. Most hair styles can be adapted to suit any facial structure, promising a vast range of looks to choose from. Being mature does not translate as blending into the background, but a passage of right to choose beauty and good health.
Total Color Change
Trying a new color is another fabulous way of achieving a brand new you. Although full coloring requires a touch-up every six to eight weeks, the excitement of a new look could make it well worth the time, and with the added confidence, it makes you worth the time. Focus on your health and happiness, not on your age.
Highlighting For Convenience
Maybe the time needed to care for a full color job is a little more than you would prefer, so give highlighting a go. Already perfectly suited for lighter hair, subtly added streaks give a new definition to your locks – especially if gray hair begins setting in, while taking years off your look. Darker hair gives you a canvas to proudly sport the highlight job, drawing attention and defying age.
Regain Full Bodied Hair
If your hair has progressively thinned and taken on a limp look, try taking off a little length. Thin hair plagues many people over 50, but learning to adapt is the easiest trick to master. Shorter hair is an instant and natural volumizer for any look. If your hair is already short or too short to trim, try hair extensions. A near natural fix for limp hair, these boost the body in your hair and add texture as well. Using a moisturizing shampoo combined with a light-weight or no-weight conditioner adds body, fullness and life without weighing down.
The Diet for Healthy Hair
The phrase “We are what we eat…” has never been truer. What we put into our bodies affects what grows out as well, and a healthy diet of vegetables and fruit gives your hair a healthy shine and feel. To maximize the healthy diet you choose, try hair vitamins for an added enhancement to your hair care regimen.
Keeping healthy hair can seem difficult, but taking the time to eat well, rest more, and live happier, gives you an excellent foundation for maintaining healthy and beautiful hair while helping some of the years to disappear.

Today players are hitting more feeds and drills then ever before. Back in the day you went to a local park with a friend with a couple of tennis balls and stayed there until it was dark playing baseline games and practice sets. But now it seems that the game has evolved and players are now more fit, there strokes are finely tuned and they just don’t miss. Even the upcoming juniors these days are extremely solid from the baseline. So why not purchase a ball machine?
Young top juniors and professional tennis players have reached their peak through endless amounts of feeds and drills over and over again. It’s not the most glamorous way to become a top junior or rise in the professional ranks. But these players are determined to make it on the tour, and have the do whatever it takes mentality. I started playing tennis at a very late age and had to do something to catch up with the group that had been training since they started walking. Well lucky for me I had a brother who started out about the same age as me and so we were able to practice and push each other to become better.
Well what do you do if you have the determination, motivation and talent but just lack of players to practice with and a limit of time with a coach? Here’s my answer, purchase a new or used ball machine. They have been around for ages and they work like a charm. There better then feeding out of the basket because they can emulate an actual ground stroke. I’m not going to lie it doesn’t beat playing with another teammate or neighbor but when it comes down to it a ball machine will teach you to groove your strokes and fix bad habits in no time. It is all about repetitions in becoming a great tennis player. You must fix the habits you have created and turn those bad habits in to 30 day mind-body connections. You might have heard your parents or teacher tell you it takes 30 days to break a bad habit. Well it’s true and it’s the continuous repetitions of practicing each type of shot.
Now these days ball machines like the lobster ball machine and the tower ball machine come with features that allow you create different types of spins and pace to create the specific ball you continue to struggle with day in and day out on the court. Now I am a college tennis player and have been playing for years. But when I practice at school I do a couple things everyday to make sure I continue to get better. First I always try and match my intensity the day before. If I come out to practice each day to get better then I will. Next I focus as much as I can in each drill, set or game we play that day, trying to put myself in a match like situation. Lastly I finish the day hitting feeds on specific types of balls I struggled with or felt I needed to tune up.
This is where a ball machine will come in very handy. No matter if you have someone to hit with or not I suggest hitting with a tennis ball machine 1 once a day to keep your strokes grooved as well as training your mind for on court match play. Try and emulate yourself in a match like situation as you hit balls from the ball machine. I guarantee any player no matter what level can improve there game with a tennis ball machine. I suggest you look in to a ball machine because it may make the difference in your tennis game.

This article describes where to look, what to look for, and how to choose day-hiking boots. Knowing where to look and what to look for, you can be sure to get the high-quality hiking boots you need without paying extra for features you don’t need.
Day-hiking boots range anywhere from $40.00 to $150.00. The high end of that range is beginning to cross into backpacking boots, but anything below that range is either an exceptionally good deal or an imitation hiking boot that will disappoint you badly.
So, let’s talk about the kinds of places to shop for hiking boots, features to look for, pitfalls to avoid, and techniques to make sure you have the right fit.
Where to Shop for Hiking Boots
If you have never done any serious hiking, you will want to buy your first serious hiking boots in a hands-on experience. I’m being honest here (habit of mine). Yes, it is in my interest to persuade you to buy your hiking boots through my Web site, but I won’t do that if it is not appropriate for you. Even aside from ethical considerations, it would be bad business for me to create a lot of dissatisfied customers telling their friends about their bad experience. No, I’m just being honest. I don’t want to take your money and leave you unhappy. Buy your first pair of hiking boots at a brick-and-mortar store where you can handle the boots and try them for proper fit. Then, when you have enough experience to know what you want in your second pair of hiking boots (or third, or …), you can take advantage of the lower prices available on the Web.
When shopping for hiking boots, look for an outdoor equipment store rather than a shoe store. The sales clerks in a general shoe store are not likely to know the difference between real hiking boots and fashion imitations of hiking boots. You might pay more money at an outdoor equipment store, but you will realize the savings out on the trail.
Once you’re in the store, ask about some of the things you read in this article. If the sales clerk doesn’t know what a scree collar is or why soft outer soles are better than hard, look for another sales clerk, or another store.
If you are ready to buy your hiking boots on the Web, you can take advantage of the best of both worlds. You can buy from a high-volume store that has the best prices, but first get your advice, recommendations, and reviews from affiliated Web sites that specialize in hiking equipment.
Wherever you choose to buy your hiking boots, make sure there is a reliable, knowledgeable person in the loop somewhere. If the sales clerk or Web site seems too eager about making the sale and not interested enough in discussing and comparing features, you should look somewhere else before you make a final decision.
Especially when you are shopping the Web sites, you may need to pay attention to brands. Certain brands have a well-deserved reputation for good quality, and you should not ignore that. On the other hand, some brands have an overblown reputation that often has more to do with fashion than with genuine quality. The only way to know the difference, and to find the quality you need without paying for fashion that you don’t care about, is to talk to those who know the difference and to read reviews from people who have actually used the hiking boots in the field.
Features to Look For in Day-Hiking Boots
Here is what you need to look for:
* Deep tread in a soft sole for traction.
* Appropriate height (just above the ankle).
* Soft, wide, thick scree collar (the padding around the top that keeps pebbles out without chafing your Achilles tendon).
* Fiberglass shank. Steel is okay, but fiberglass is better in day-hiking boots because it’s lighter. Full-length is preferred, but shorter shanks may be acceptable if you are planning more moderate hiking.
* Tongue attached at least up to the top of the foot, or higher if you plan on crossing streams frequently.
* Crampon attachments (good, but not essential, unless you do a lot of hiking in icy conditions).
* Hooks for the laces above the top of the foot.
* Choose eyelets, D-rings, or webbing for the lower lace attachment points as a matter of personal taste. My experience does not indicate any one to be better than the others for day-hiking boots.
* Good insulation and padding all around, firm on the bottom, with a tough but smooth lining.
* Double stitching on all visible seams.
* More leather and less fabric is better. Split leather is fine (and you’ll almost never find full-grain leather in a day-hiking boot), but not full suede.
* Fewer seams is better.
Most of these features are self-evident, but here are a few techniques for evaluating specific features.
* Tread should be at least two fifths of the total thickness of the sole.
* Measure the softness of the tread surface by pressing your thumbnail into it. You should be able to make a visible indentation that springs out in a second or so.
* Measure the stiffness of the shank by holding the heel in one hand and the toe in the other, and twisting the sole. You should not be able to twist it at all.
Common Pitfalls to Avoid in Hiking Boots
The biggest problem you’re likely to find in shopping for day-hiking boots is cheaply-made “imitation” hiking boots. They look like hiking boots, but they’re not built to stand up to trail conditions. They will not last long, and they will not give you the traction and water resistance you need.
You can tell an “imitation” hiking boot from the real thing by these characteristics:
* Mild tread, less than about two-fifths the thickness of the sole.
* Hard tread surface that you can barely indent with your fingernail.
* Non-attached tongue.
* Non-rigid sole that you can twist by hand.
* No scree collar. There may be patches of leather or a different color of fabric that look like a scree collar, but if it doesn’t have thick, soft padding around the top, it’s not a real hiking boot. It won’t keep the pebbles out, and it might chafe or constrict your Achilles tendon.
Fitting your Hiking Boots
You must fit your hiking boots with any orthopedic inserts, off-the-shelf insoles, and the hiking socks you intend to wear with them. A good rule of thumb is to start with one full size larger than your regular street shoes.
With all the inserts and insoles in place and your hiking socks on, but with no laces in the boot, put the boot on and push your foot all the way forward until your toes touch the front. You should have just enough room behind the heel to slide your finger all the way in.
Next, lace the boot up snugly and walk around. The boots will be stiff and uncomfortable because they’re not broken in, but they should not allow your foot to slide or rub.
Stand on a steep slope with your toes pointing down. (Use the fitting horse where you’re supposed to put your foot to lace the shoe while sitting. Go ahead and stand on it.) You should be able to wiggle your toes, and they should not touch the front of the boots.
If you bought the boots via the Web, do this fit-test as soon as you get them. Even if you think you know your size, boots from different manufacturers might fit differently. Check the size and fit immediately, and return them for a replacement if they don’t fit right.
Conclusion
If you are looking for your first pair of serious hiking boots, you must do your shopping in an outdoor equipment store where you can handle the boots and talk to knowledgeable sales staff. Only if you have some experience with day-hiking boots, take advantage of the bargains available on the Web.
Check for the features that identify a quality hiking boot, and avoid “fake” hiking boots.
Bring all the inserts and socks you will wear with your hiking boots, and check for a firm but comfortable fit with no rubbing or sliding.
Look for quality, and expect to pay for it, but don’t pay more than you have to for features that don’t contribute to the durability and comfort of your hiking boots.

According to Ayurveda, conception takes place due to healthy sperm, healthy ovum and a healthy uterus. For both men and women, reproductive health depends on the health of the shukra dhatu, or reproductive tissue. In women the shukra tissue creates the ovum as part of the monthly cycle, and in men the semen is formed due to sexual stimulation. The shukra tissue itself is created as part of a long chain of metabolic transformations, starting with the digestion of food and including the transformation of food to nutrient fluid, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow and finally, to shukra tissue. Healthy shukra tissue, then, according to ayurveda, depends on the health of all the other tissues in the body.
The main causes for infertility according to Ayurveda are eating spicy, salty and hot food that increase pitta and destroys shukra (semen), overindulgence in sexual activities that leads to shukra kshaya (loss of semen) it may also cause clibya (impotency), controlling sexual urges for longer duration that results in veeryaavarodha (Obstruction of semen) and leads to decreased libido. In some cases impotency is acquired by birth also.
Ayurvedic treatment for infertility :
** Body Constitution of both the partners are to be evaluated and any blockages are to be cleared and weakness to be tonified.
** Women to stay relaxed as when tensed the fallopian tubes, the blood vessels nourishing the uterus can be constricted, which is not conducive for conceiving.
** Men to avoid alcohol and smoking, reduce poor quality fats in the diet, and increase exercise.
** Yogasanas like Padmasana increases blood flow to the perineum and directs prana (life force) to the lower two chakras that govern sexual functions.
** Ayurvedic herbs such as Gokshura (Tribulis terrestris), Guduchi (Tinosporia cordifolia) and Triphala are very much to clear the blockage. Shatavari (Asparagus racemosa) is a rejuvenative tonic for women. Kapikacchu (Mucuna pruriens) is a proven medicine for increasing the sperm and defective sperm formation.
