  • Bikini 2009/10 Fashion Trends

Come Spring/Summer 2009 we’re all going to be eager to hit the beach; preferably one of many from the beauty of the Mediterranean. But which swimwear pieces and bikinis will women be wearing? 2009 fashion trends will again be a major influencer and, in particular, the year’s one shoulder fashion trend.

    1. One-Shoulder Bikinis and Monokinis

Taking their cues from the one shoulder fashion trend, one-shouldered bikinis will be the must have swimwear in 2009.

Thankfully, a standout one-shouldered swimwear piece isn’t going to be hard to come by.

    1. Marios Schwab married the one-shouldered bikini with the cutaway bikini trend on his Spring/Summer 2009 runway at London Fashion Week. This particular piece also uses Summer florals taking what a risqué bikini to a girl level. It’s cut and under-strapping make this a particular good piece for smaller chested girls.
    2. Victoria’s Secret included a single-shouldered piece in their 2008 line-up. More notable for it’s side-tie briefs, this attention grabbing feature makes it a good bikini for girls whose legs are stand out.
    3. A one-shouldered monokini was naturually used on Hervé Léger by Max Azria’s Spring/Summer 2009 catwalk but sadly with no-where near the same sex appeal as other pieces in the collection. Read cut-away swimwear below for more
    4. Under his own name Max Azria also sent a single-shouldered monikini down the catwalk, again pairing it with the cut-away trend. This particular piece stands out for it’s use of a buckle clasp to join the body fabric with the shoulder. As with piece 3, smaller breasted girls are probably to avoid these particular cuts as they their black fabric will need some filling out to look best.
    5. While not truly a one-shoulder monokini, Gottex’s piece from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection has the same visual effect. It’s clever halter neck also allows for a more revealing but and better support.
    6. Finally, if you still have access to 2008 pieces; Gucci debuted their sophisticated take on the one-shouldered monokini as a part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

    2. Cut-Away Swimwear / Bikinis

Cut away clothes pieces are a major trend of 2009 and much like the one shoulder trend, it’s a style being applied to bikinis and swimwear. Infrequently demure, this really is one bikini trend that screams ’sex’!

    cutawaybikinitrend2009

    1. Not as tightly fitting as other ’spray on’ monokinis this season, Amanda Wakeley’s white one-piece pairs a deep neck line with cut-away sides.
    2. A two-piece with boob-tube, this bikini by Carmen Marc uses the cut-away trend with subtlety. All the same, these cutaway briefs are more than eye catching.
    3. A monokini by Carmen Marc, this swimwear piece is equally as subtle as the aforementioned two-piece, but far more demure.
    4. Similar to Amanda Wakeley’s white one-piece (1) this screen-printed monokini is from Miss Sixty.
    5. The most luxurious of the pieces featured, this almost-two-piece monokini from Gottex pairs a halter-neck top, joined briefs, and gold piping.
    6. - 10. are all from the one catwalk which screamed sex, decadence, and youth; the one catwalk that really grabbed my eye at New York Fashion Week; Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring/Summer 2009. With enough cut-away than you can possibly wear throughout Summer, these are knock-out pieces that you’re not necessarily going to want to get wet.

  • As the fashion section of New York Magazine boldly states, “Pants are so last year.” If you want something funkier, fancier, trendier, and chicer to dress up your wardrobe, the over-the-knee boot is the style of the moment to snatch up.

On the runway, designer after designer turned out their fanciest frocks accessorized by none other than the tall boot.

Here are 7 reasons to love the thigh-high or over-the-knee boot, no matter your shape, height, weight, or fashion fears.

    1. Extended Summer. Thigh-high boots are meant to be seen and flaunted. That means you’ll be sporting short-short dresses, mini-skirts, and shorts all through fall and winter to make room for the inches and inches of boot. Who can’t love a boot that gives you a fabulous excuse to keep your favorite spring and summer outfits at the front of your closet?
    2. Fashion Camouflage. Have a love-hate relationship with your knees, thighs, ankles, or calves? Invest in a pair of over-the-knee boots and you can hide any flaws you may think you have on your gamely gams. Also a plus: you can latch onto skin-tight thigh-high boots, or get comfy cozy in waders and looks with a little breathing room. They’re both super-chic, whatever option you choose.
    3. Corner Chic. You can finally dress like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman… without being accused of looking like a prostitute. The umpteen textures, colors, and heel heights available from this season’s savvy designers give you a wide variety of boots to test out. So you can go for super-sexy, shiny, black leather or down-to-earth, Mother Nature brown… whatever satisfies your daring inner fashion diva.
    4. Options, Options, Options. Comfort is still key no matter the fashion trend – and it’s crucial to wear what makes you feel good. So you can go with the truly thigh-high boots that really do make you look like you’re wearing suede pants from your toes to your hips. Or you can select the slightly more demure just-over-the-knee boots that still gain you style points but require a little less nerve. From flats to chunky heels to five-inch stilettos, latch onto the style that you know you’ll wear most often.
    5. Breathe Easy. Tights and panty hose are not required for this fall fashion trend. Buy boots that are high enough and skirts that are low enough to blend together and you can strut around in your thigh-skimmers with your favorite striped socks underneath. No uncomfortable nylon or spandex in sight.
    6. Slim and Slenderize. Talk about streamlining your look. Nothing makes you look longer and leaner than a head-to-toe look. And with half of your body covered by a pair of sizzling tall boots, you’re only one boyfriend blazer and multi-chain necklace away from a finished ensemble.
    7. Matchy, Matchy. Thigh-high boots go with practically everything, especially all the classic fall trends, and the trendier ones like leather shorts and miniskirts. Try on a daring color choice, like purple or robin’s egg blue, or go the “safer” route with black, grey, or brown.

  • If you are single and looking for a break from the daily grind, you surely do not want to end up at a couple’s only resort. Instead, check out one of these vacation ideas for some excitement and potentially some chemistry.

    Go Foreign

If you prefer getting out of your comfort zone but not too much, visit a foreign country where English is one of the main languages, like Canada or Britain. Different countries hold a beauty all their own, from cultural differences, old historic monuments and the hustle and bustle of big cities. Be sure to check out popular single hot spots like a local disco club. No matter where you decide to spend your time, there is plenty to see and do in a foreign country, including finding other singles.

    Try the Beach

There is a reason Hawaii is one of the top travel destinations. The pristine beaches, clear waters, lush rain forests and the infectious Mahalo spirit have visitors wanting to come back before they leave. Start with selecting an island or islands to visit. Stay on the big island for volcanoes, visit Maui if you enjoy snorkeling and some of nature’s wonders–Haleakala Crater, the rain forests and waterfalls on the road to Hana. Try Oahu for art galleries, shopping and a bit of history with the USS Arizona and stay on Kauai or Molokai for solitude and lots of hiking opportunities.

Any popular beach will be loaded with other singles. If you are not comfortable striking up conversation, sign up for group surfing lessons or a luau to meet other singles from the islands or visiting from other places, like you.

    Go Rustic

If you want to go somewhere that is not littered with tourists and tourist traps, go somewhere to find like-minded nature lovers. Take a trip to the mountains and sign up for a group hike or mountain biking trek. If you prefer going underground, stay somewhere near a cave where spelunking is a popular activity. Another option is to sign up for a weeklong hike in an exotic location. You will certainly get up close and personal with lots of other people, including other singles with a trek on the Inca trail.

    Go Cruising

A perfect place to meet lots of people is on a cruise. Everyone is secluded on the boat with limited options for restaurants, activities and lounging, so you are bound to run into the same people over and over. Another bonus is that the places you will be stopping at are usually little pieces of paradise where you can share a day on the beach or an afternoon walking around the town with a new friend.

  • How to Stop My Divorce

First, if you were the one who made the decision to end the marriage and now you wonder, how can I stop my divorce? you should realize that you’re in a much better position than most people trying to save their relationships. You’ll need to swallow your pride and go to your spouse with an apology. Explain that you acted hastily and that now you regret it. Explain that you no longer want the divorce, and maybe even that you never wanted it but you spoke out of anger and you were wrong.

This might seem a difficult step, but it’s necessary. Since you were the one to bring up the issue of divorce, your spouse might have started seriously considering and thinking that it’s a good idea, too. When you want to know, “How to stop my divorce,” you need to discover what your spouse thinks of the idea and make it clear that you were wrong. Unless they’ve had a lot of time and reason to decide that you were right and divorce is the best step, you can probably save the marriage just by admitting you made a mistake.

If you’re wondering, “How can I stop my divorce when I didn’t want it in the first place,” then you have your work cut out for you. You can explain, without judgment or accusations, that you think the marriage is worth saving and that you don’t want a divorce. Chances are that you’ve done this, more than once. But the way you say it can make a difference.

stop divorceIt’s important for you to be very mature and calm about it. That’s not always easy to do. Divorce is an emotional and painful thing. But it’s one thing to cry while explaining that you want to stay married, and entirely another to yell or dissolve into hysterics. If you scream, accuse or point fingers at your spouse, you’re giving him or her even more reason to want to get away from you. If you want to learn ‘how to stop my divorce’ you have to let go of the anger and resentment you feel toward your spouse for ever suggesting it in the first place.

You also have to be willing to work on your problems. You must agree that the relationship can’t go back to the way it was, but must change for the better. Suggest marital counseling. Explain, “I want to stop my divorce,” but make it clear you know your spouse was unhappy with the way things were, and you’re ready to make them better.

  • Elodie by Fantasie Wear Test Reviews

    ElodieSmlInitial thoughts
This lingerie set from Fantasie is gorgeous, sexy and has a little secret that I love, support!  I love support in a non padded bra it helps to keep my shape looking great no matter what I’m wearing. Even the thongs have a support panel in the front to keep everything looking trim.

    Fit and Shape
The shape as I’ve mentioned is great, the fact that a non padded bra can give so much support with a perfect fit is wonderful. To have a bra that gives my breasts a great shape is very important to me as I like to look good whether I’m going to work or a day out with my family. To have a bra that fits like a glove is a must too, there are certainly no problems with fitting and no movement other than moving with me when lifting and doing general jobs at home or at work.

    Comfort
Oh yes that all important comfort factor, can you feel your bra? Well not in this one its like a glove, it glides with my every move and I don’t have to keep fidgeting and adjusting it all day. The soft feel of the fabric helps a lot with the comfort factor of any bra.

    Materials & Durability
A beautiful sexy grey fabric with Austrian embroidery which has hints of pink to it and a softness that will keep any woman happy. The straps are a good size, helping to support the breasts as well being easily adjusted. All clasps and adjusters are durable enough to last while also looking good to add to the bras class and sophistication. The sheer lace effects on both the bra and thong definitely add a touch of glamour to this set.

    Design and Style
The design is perfect to show off your shape and and has a classic yet modern feel to it, its got seams that accentuate the bust line and curves. As for the style of this bra and knicker set it can be worn under any outfit for any occasion as the style is perfect for the office or pleasure, which is a real plus.

    Conclusion
In conclusion I would wear this lingerie set for any occasion, with any clothing but I would also consider just wearing it for special evenings out. With a bra that gives a great look, fits perfectly to my contours it would foolish of me not to like wearing this set and to hate having to take it off at the end of the day.

  • Guidelines to Wear a Good Perfume

As in the fashion world, it will be incomplete for a person’s fashion without the perfume. The fragrance from your body complements and adds to your personality. So you should be very careful in choosing your perfume and cologne. The perfume that you use should be attractive and not repulsive. The choice of your fragrance should correlate with your skin. It should not be too strong or inappropriate to you .It is therefore very important to be very cautious in the time of your selection.

It is true that different brand of Perfume and Cologne have their own specialty. Some are quite strong and others are quite soft fragrance. You must be aware of the occasion and then make a selection. A grand party in a summer suits with soft and sweet fragrance. This adds flavor to the parties environment. This is because in the summer our skin remains wet and the perfume last for longer. One same perfume is not advisable to use throughout the year. This is because the reaction of the skin in different seasons changes. It will be good to use strong fragrance in the winter or in the cold places. In the winter the skin of the body are dry. Apply the perfume after taking bath or shower since your skin is fresh and smooth. The softness of your skin will help to observe the fragrance more thoroughly. The pores of your skin are more open which helps the fragrance to get into the skin. Apply the perfume and cologne to your neck, elbow, behind the thigh etc. This is because the blood circulation is much faster and warm. This will help to observe the fragrance faster. Do not be too quick while making the selection of your perfume. The perfume that you select should blend to your natural smell of your body. It should It should be soft and subtle and not overpowering. This will add to your personality. It will help you to associate with people easily. When you go to the store see that you choose only those perfumes that your body is comfortable. Check your choice by spraying on your body. See that you don’t over spray the perfume. This will not give you the exact fragrance. Because the over spraying of the perfume will be a mixture which can give to different fragrance. Before you make a final purchase sprays on your body and see for one day. This will help you to know whether the perfume have the bad reaction to your body and also will tell you how long it lasts. If you find that it is good blends with your body just get it.

Now you should also know that perfumes have a different reaction with different items. The ornaments and jewelry that we wear on our body can cause bad reaction and harmful to our skin. For example, there are some ornaments that get discolored and damaged with the reaction of alcohol. So it will be advisable that while applying the cologne we don’t apply on them or around them. Try out different brand of perfume in the year. This is because different season have different intensity and temperature. Different season have their own specialty. In the winter you may use stronger and vice versa. Make sure that you are already well known to the product especially while purchasing through the internet.
