This is an guide to help anybody who needs to know if there house is truly haunted, remember there is help available if you need it.
What to watch for – and what to do about it.
You hear heavy footsteps in the upstairs hallway when you know no one is up there. Doors slam unaccountably. Commonly used items disappear and reappear without cause. The kitchen light turns on by itself. There’s the unmistakable scent of a strange perfume in the air.
These may be indications that your house is haunted. True hauntings are rare occurrences, and it may be difficult to determine whether or not any strange phenomena you are experiencing in your home might be due to a haunting. For one thing, no one really knows what a “real” haunting is – what causes it or why it starts.
The Signs of a Haunting
The first step is to determine, as best you can, whether or not you truly have a legitimate case of a haunting.
Not all hauntings are alike, and they may exhibit a variety of phenomena. Some hauntings feature a single phenomenon – such as a particular door slamming shut that occurs repeatedly – while others consist of many different phenomena, ranging from odd noises to full-blown apparitions.
Here’s a partial list of phenomena that might indicate that your house is haunted:
1: Does your home have cold spots…areas where there is no evidence of a draft, but you can feel one anyway? Oftentimes, spiritual activity is accompanied by cold wisps of air and chilling puffs against your skin. They can be a barely-noticeable occurrence, or very strong. Goosebumps can result. Pay attention, these can be very tell-tale.
2: If you hear ghostly footsteps, wait until the phenomenon has stopped (or until daylight, if you’re more comfortable) and try to duplicate the sound by walking wherever the footsteps came from. Was it really footsteps, or the house settling or shifting as the temperature dropped at dusk?
3: Do your dogs or cats tend to avoid or obsess about a particular location in your home? Animals are extremely sensitive to paranormal occurrences and “vibes”. They will often stare at a particular spot for no specific reason, growl at thin air, flee from nothing and bark at something you can’t see. Sooth the animal and get it to calm down. Take notice of when and where these things happen and see what other signs might be going on. Pay heed to your pets. They’re innocently psychic.
4: Do you find that friends or family mention feeling a particular way in your home or specific location in the home? Are they spooked at times? Do they talk about nighttime occurrences or feelings they have? Those who don’t live full time in the house will often feel more spirit energy than those living there. We can grow “immune” to the feelings in our own house. Pay attention to what visitors say.
5: Very common scents that are not usual to your surroundings can indicate some spirit activity. The sense of smell is extremely strong in relation to memory for human beings. We can smell a particular aroma and be taken instantly back to a strong memory we’ve stored that is connected to that smell. Perfumes, flower scents, earthy scents and cooking smells are some of the scents detected in relation to ghostly activity.
6: You can try meditation, open yourself to the experience of feeling the atmosphere of your own home. Clear your thoughts and breathe deeply, drawing in the ambiance around your house and filtering it through your senses. Does it feel charged with energy? Does it feel as though you’re not alone? Does it feel like there are emotions there that don’t belong to your or other inhabitants? These things all can indicate presences of spirit people and ghostly visitors.
7: If you have children, do they seem to have developed a imaginary friend. This is common we know with all children, but sometimes a spirit can attach itself to a child and draw on there energy. Spirits are especially attracted to children as there souls are pure and are very easily manipulated. Children will believe anything.
It is not uncommon for a child’s behavior to change dramatically. Signs of this maybe:
Constant Fatigue, this occurs by the spirit drawing on the child’s energy.
Increase in aggression
Lack of concentration, this may be their performance at school.
An increase in nightmares.
I relise this just sounds like a normal child.
The best way to tell though is by listening to your child’s conversations with so called imaginary friend.
Your child may use particular words or phrases or have knowledge of an event, that they could not possibly know.
Ask your child questions about who he/she may be talking to.
Is this person a boy or girl?
How old is he/she?
Where are he/she from?
What do you talk about? etc!
8: Do you see or hear doors slam shut by themselves.
This is very common and can be miss interpreted for a haunting. Check the surrounding area for any drafts. Put your hand around cracks in doors and windows and try to feel for any drafts that may come through them. You must eliminate any natural causes.
9: If an object seems to move by itself, check the floor or surface with a carpenter’s level. You can pick up a cheap one for under $2, and it’ll fit in your purse or pocket. If the object is lightweight, check for drafts, too.
10: If windows open themselves, check the hardware. Make certain they’re really closed. Try the window to see if the counterweight isn’t right, and the window opens too easily.
11: If windows close themselves, try propping them with a piece of pipe or other solid object. Ghosts pop those props out, gravity usually doesn’t.
Poltergeist phenomena is its own animal, so to speak. First, try to repeat the incident yourself, using natural means that could have occurred the first time. (A dish can fall off a shelf if the shelf is shaky. A dish cannot fly across the room and smash on the wall unless someone threw it, or rigged it.

It was always believed that no eyewear could be made without the use of hinges and screws. Also it was believed that no eyewear could weigh amazingly, awesomely, unbelievingly…1.8 grams ONLY.
But the introduction of Titan Minimal Art Eyewear, in the last decade, a brainchild of designer Gerhard Fuchs and Silhouette Eyewear, eliminated all these notions.
Gerhard Fuchs started his research in the starting of the last decade. He wanted to reduce or eliminate the use of hinges and screws in the frames. Surely, a drastic reduction in the weight was on the mind. As a result, he, alongwith his research team, came up with the first design of Minimal Art Collection in 1992.
The temples were of course hingeless, however, the lenses were connected with a bridge. He had used copper alloy for this highly weightless eyewear.
But the invention of Gerhard Fuchs soon received a serious jolt when the consumers complained about the frequent occurrence of material-related problems. Despite taking it as a setback, the designer started searching for another potential options.
Much to the amazement, they discovered a very unique and super-elastic alloy of titanium in Japan. This discovery led to the end of material related problem, and opened the doors of a newly revised, comparatively lighter, corrosion free and durable eyewear.
Thus, in 1997, the company launched its first titanium frame series. They called it Titan Next Generation Series. It was available in “hinged temples” model.
Then, in 1999, the existing model gave way to the first screwless, hingeless and highly awaited titanium frame series weighing only 1.8 grams. The collection was named as The Titan Minimal Art.
This new “weightless” phenomenon was taken by the enthusiasts with both arms stretched wide and forward. So far the company has sold around 5 million units of Titan Minimal Art Glasses. Its collection has a range of more than 50 colors and shapes.
These eyewear. and sunglasses got a variation of takers. Many of them are Hollywood celebrities and even NASA astronauts.
Hence, it is quite clear that how this “lightest” range of glasses has made our perception changed we had about eyewear fashion. Definitely, it has set a new standard and benchmark in the field of eyewear innovations.

My only solace that summer is over is that fall has come. And with it, ubiquitous fashion magazines boasting the season’s must haves, gotta haves, wish you had. While I generally pore over such magazines, I’m especially voracious for the shoe section. If jeans are my first love, shoes are a very close second. I won’t even admit to how many pairs I own, partly because I lost count quite some time ago. Due to my collection (”collection” sound so much nicer than “obsession” doesn’t it?!) I am always eager to read what the “experts” are saying about shoe trends and how to apply them to long legs, and let’s face it- big feet. Typically I write very favorably about our good fortune in the height department. But let’s be honest. Sometimes the price we pay is looking longingly at the size 8 section while cursing our genes, or if we are freaks of the family as I am, just cursing in general. But just because we have big feet, ahem…non petite feet, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the season’s hottest trends.
I could write a novel about the many styles, designs, trends, shapes, colors, textiles, genus, species, and families of shoes. And though it would be fascinating, I’ll spare you the delightful details. I’ll just talk about a few of my favorite styles. Now this one may be disputable, but my absolute favorite fall staple is a pair of warm, cozy, and comfortable Uggs. I’m aware that every fall, some fashion columnist deems Uggs “out.” Yet, I argue that this trend has staying power. People are still splurging on the real thing, or buying every kind of knock off known to man. So apparently their appeal has yet to wane. Next is the riding boot phenomenon. Who knew equestrian wear could be so fun? Like Uggs, I suspect there will be those who label these “so last season,” but again I beg to differ. Casual boots of all styles are a staple for your fall wardrobe.
What I appreciate most about both Uggs and riding boots are that they look great on long legs and big feet. Most women might avoid cutting the line of their legs nearly in half but we have a few inches to spare. Both of these styles also typically come in flats and large sizes. Another flattering trend for tall women is ballet flats which are showing up all over the place in fall textures like tweed, patent leather, and faux animal skins. I won’t lecture those of you who do not wear heels; I understand the temptation to avoid all the unoriginal comments about already being tall enough, not “needing” heels, the air up there, yada yada yada. Regardless, I am six feet tall and I refuse to give up heels. Um, does the word “glamazon” mean anything to you?!
For those of you who are a slightly bolder and like not only a high heel, but unexpected details, you will be pleased to find that of bows, jewels, peep-toes, updated oxfords, and retro shapes. To make your foot appear smaller try round toes, the recent “cap toe” trend, with the toe in a different color than the rest of the shoe (the caveat is these heels are typically higher), color blocks, and banded flats or Mary Jane’s. These styles break the foot into smaller parts and trick the eye. No ladies, there are no Spanx for feet. I googled it.
All advice aside, if you are obsessively self conscious about your feet…they will appear bigger (terribly silly pun intended). So the balance is to wear trends that flatter, but not focus on the negative. While I have a weakness for fashionable trends, I refuse to be enslaved by them. There are a variety of options in terms of large sizes, styles and trends, so shop around until you find the perfect pair (ok, let’s be realistic- the perfect pairs) for fall.

The choice of prom dress is a seemingly life important one for many girls, so it’s worth stepping back to take a look at the history of the prom gown…
In fact the high school prom is a recent phenomenon, only really starting in the early 20th century. At that time, it was a fairy small affair, with students gathering rather formally, with a live band maybe.
As the century wore on, society changed in all sorts of ways, and the prom changed with the times, but because it remained a fixture on the school calendar, it grew in tradition and importance. As the proms became a bigger and bigger event, the look you presented to others also took on more importance.
The men were able to play safe with a dinner jacket, but for the girls, it has become both a pleasure and joy, because although you can really go to town for your dress, you want to have a gown which not only stands out, but does not make you stand out for the wrong reasons.
With the rise of the internet, the options have grown even more, and girls no longer have to stick to classic ballgown looks, or make do with what the local stores have to offer – this has led to more and more girls choosing individual looks for their gowns.
The classic ballgown does look gorgeous, that’s why it’s a classic look after all, but it’s easily possible now to combine this classic type of look with any number of variations.Tight fitting corsetry, ribbons, and capes are all elements which can make heads turn, and the dark rich colours also will gain attention.
So we can see that from small beginnings through the changes of the 20th century, the history of the prom gown has gone from small and dainty to styled and classic to the many individual choices available today.

Women cannot go on a cocktail party or clubbing gimmick without donning three things: fashionable bag, stiletto shoes and shining-shimmering jewelry pieces. Fashion is ultimately women’s world but the male species are starting to embrace the phenomenon of trotting with chic get-up and men’s accessories. Thus, fashion doesn’t exclude anybody because it’s definitely where great ideas and contemporary outputs overflow. To address the growing needs of fashion aficionados and beautifully crafted accessories, the industry affords the market with cheap designer jewelry, discounted bags and shoes, low-priced yet quality clothes, and diamond lips on sale. A single day won’t be enough to find the greatest of the best deals that online shops like e-bay.com, amazon.com, walmart dot com and other websites are displaying for sale.
Cheap designer jewelry pieces are not necessarily low in quality and design. They are pieces sold at slashed tags as the jewelry makers feel there is a need to dispose volumes of pieces in order to give way to new series or collections of earrings, neckpieces, bracelets, bangles, anklets and watches. These designer jewelry pieces are of different concepts such as vintage, contemporary, fusion of classic and makeup crystal-embedded, native, sparkling, sterling silver, gold-embedded and Swarovski inspired. Any designer jewelry adds up to the glamour and beauty of the outfit you are wearing. It creates a twist while enhancing your look so that you can stand out in any occasion you are in. Simplicity can even transform into glamour when you pair your outfit with an artistically crafted designer watch, bangle or jewelry set.
Crystal is a wonderful piece to use when making a jewelry piece because of timelessness, classiness and versatility. Your beauty is likely to last forever as you are donned in designer pieces of jewelry. Chandelier and dangling earrings are popular among cheap designer jewelry pieces. Bangles are also trendy in lieu of the typical bracelets. For a neckpiece, you have an option to pick the choker type or the lengthy one that reaches to your tummy. Fusing silver with other types of materials can be very edgy as well. Colors like orange, blue and silver-plated are much followed by the younger crowd while earth tones of stones and red look pretty on mature women who desire to attain an elegant look in all occasions.
Gemstones, Swarovski crystals, Mother of Pearl and diamonds are women’s fascinations when it comes to cheap designer jewelry. A distinctive set of rhodium embedded earrings coupled with bezel crystals can make you look sophisticated and elegant. Without too much glitters and sparkles, you can outshine dullness if you have Swarovski jewelry as part of your wardrobe. Any Swarovski inspired set provides an essence of haute couture that makes a woman feels as if she’s wearing an authentic piece of diamonds and pearls.
